The Biggest Salad Mistakes

Why do you eat salads? Is it because you want to be skinny? Well, in that case you should avoid making these mistakes:

  1. When you are in a restaurant you choose the lowest-calorie salad. And you hope that you will be satisfied after eating it, however, you end up being even more hungry than you were before. Which means that you end up eating something afterwards.
  2. You only eat one type of greens. You should switch your salads in order to get as much vitamins as you can from all the types of leafy greens.
  3. You eat less protein than you should. A bad thing to do. Protein is what makes you feel full. And if you do not feel full after your lunch then you will end up eating more than you actually would if you ate the right amount of protein.
  4. You think that you can eat as much healthy fats as you want. And so you often end up turning your salad into a caloric bomb.
  5. You think that the fact that you are having a salad means that you can have a dessert. Well, be careful with this one.

So? Well, we suggest that instead of having a salad all the time, have a lunch of your choice every once in a while. Do not torture yourself, it will not do any good.
